Take a small piece of each metal and add it to cold water

The metal that reacts vigorously, producing bubbles of gas (hydrogen) and hissing sound is sodium.

Now for the remaining metals, heat the water until it becomes very hot; add a piece of the remaining metal to the hot water.

The one that produces some small bubbles of gas (hydrogen) is magnesium.

This is a method of identifying metal using their reactivity. Sodium is more reactive with water than magnesium which in turn is more reactive than zinc.

sodium is the most reactive metal and it will react vigorously in water.

magnesium also react with water but with less heat than sodium.

copper will not react with water at all.

hope it helps plz mark BRAINLIEST!
