Subject: Need for a public movement to clean the Yamuna River
Dear Sir,
I am Radha G, member of NGO AWAAZ. Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I want to draw the attention of the public towards the need for a public movement to clean the Yamuna river.
The Yamuna River is being contaminated everywhere. The holy river is being filled with sewage, plastic waste and corpses. The factories dump their chemical waste into the river. Due to this, the aquatic system of the Yamuna river is dying day by day. It is also not fit for human consumption. The public had demanded a water treatment plant but there was no response from the concerned authorities.
I hope that you will take this problem into account and publish my letter in your newspaper and help to initiate some solutions to this problem.
Thanking You,
Yours faithfully,
Radha G

Subject: Request for clean up of Yamuna river.
Respected Sir,
I'm Radha G, an active member of Ngo AWAAZ through your newspaper I want to draw the attention of people towards a very important cause ie clean up of Yamuna river.
The holy river Yamuna is being filled with waste, sewage, plastics, etc. The entire area is filled with soul smell. Even factories dump their chemical waste into the river. The smell and the dirt attract flies, insects and therefore it can become a cause for health hazards.
We had even requested the authorities once for a water treatment plant but to no avail.
I hope you would consider our problem and publish it in your newspaper.
Yours sincerely
Radha G
