Abdul Kalam Animal Care Home, Delhi.
Pets are the lives of their owners, and it's heartbreaking to see a number of them left to roam as stray animals. A visit to Abdul Kalam Animal Care Home, at Delhi left me mesmerised by the use of technology and best facility for animals' care.
The animal care home founded in 2010, was well maintained with the capacity to accommodate around 1000 animals. They provide care to young animals, injured and abandoned pets.
The food reservoir had separate temperature settings. Medical rooms were clean and tidy with the number of equipment. Experienced surgeons and veterinarians are only recruited as the medical staff.
Glimmer in eyes of pets was visible as they felt at home. The green surroundings over a large area made them feel close to nature with lots of toys to play with.
