Speech on 'Monuments', BRICS Summit 2018 :

I am truly proud to represent my India in this BRICS Summit 2018. It is an honour for me to be given this golden opportunity.

In aspects of monuments, I choose 'Hawa Mahal' as the centre of my speech. But before that we should recall a few lines on what History is.

Like others, I do not agree that History consists dates only. History is the timeline of incidents throughout the ages.

In 1947, India was given freedom from the British Rulers and we come to know the struggle of the freedom fighters from History books. So it is not only a calendar of events but also a written documentatary package of evennts.

From History books, we come to know how a civilization grew and how the end came. History teaches us how things change from time to time.

History consists the various events of America, England, Russia, France and of all other countries. The History of the Nation means the History of the people, the story of the struggles and the lively faces of the iconic architectures in the country.

To my topic, 'Hawa Mahal' is recited. 'Hawa Mahal' is a palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in India. 'Hawa Mahal' translates to 'Palace of Winds' or 'Palace of the Breeze'. Its structure is made of red and pink sandstone, which makes it extremely presentable to the beauty of the world; undoubtedly a true sign of Art lying in this monument.

The construction was completed in the year of 1799. In the style of Rajput Architecture, it represents the everlasting tradition of the Rajput gharanas. Hawa Mahal is a unique five-storey exterior demanding a honeycomb of a beehive with 953 small windows, decorated with intricate lattice work.

In that time, Hawa Mahal was used by Maharaja Jai Singh as the chef-d'œuvere. Like any other monuments on earth, it has been carrying out a direct view of a tradition.

Like Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa, India is also a growing country. As it is said that past is past, but a glorious past always judges the present moments.

In today's world, where Technology has reduced man's efforts as well as reducing the attraction in a person to enjoy that lies beyond.

I mean to say that whatever happens today, we need to save our countries' glorious past to show the world that we will live tomorrow through the monuments, we made.

In each year, the economical benefits as a tourist spot, India gains a high esteemed sum from it. It is still collaborating with earning besides enlightenment.
