Sir,

For the past few weeks, the front page of your newspaper is filled with crimes against the elderly. The situation concerns me as the incidences are increasing each day.

To safeguard our elders, each person should take it as their responsibility. Elders need our care and love, to not feel lonely and to feel safe. We should make them feel lively and secure and comfortable by spending time with them. Involving them in our daily activities.

I hope this letter encourages you to bring up the topic to the public.
