But then I got closer to my room-mate, and I started missing you less. There comes a time when you get settled in a new place. Right now, I am doing great here. I am acting on everything you told you guys told me to. As far as my studies are concerned, I am doing good job at that too. I just got over with exams last week and I believe I have done a satisfactory job at it. I hope to make you guys proud when the result comes. I feel quite happy here. Although I am away from home for the first time, yet the atmosphere and the routine of this institute does not let me feel home-sick.
I am sorry to note that you are needlessly worrying about me. Undoubtedly I felt home-sick for some days but now I have adapted myself in the new life.
My classes are held from S. 15 to 2.30, we have lunch at 1 p.m. then there are other activities. The teachers keep us busy all day long.
I take part in the morning physical drill, evening games and other activities of the school. The superintendent of the hostel is very painstaking and loving. We live here like the members of a family.
I have made some good friends here. One is a magician with numbers. He always gets 100% marks in Math. His name is Fernandes. The other one is a poet. He writes very good Hindi poetry and recites it well. Even our teachers are impressed by him. He is Gyanprakash from Meerut. The third is Firoz who is the best football player in our school. He comes from Nagaland. The fourth is Mohindra Singh who is the best athlete in the whole school.
Please convey my regards to Mummy and Daddy and assure them that I am quite happy here.
