3. By planting trees where there were none before, afforestation helps to preserve the ecosystem by avoiding soil erosion and promoting rainwater formation.
5. For instance, afforestation has helped to lessen erosion and stabilise the ecology in some areas of Dodoma, Tanzania where there was severe soil erosion.
6. Spreading awareness on importance of environmental conservation: People should be aware of the significance of environmental conservation and how they may contribute in order to speed up the process.
8. Many people damage the environment because they are ignorant of the effects of their activities, and occasionally those who want to participate in the conservation process are not knowledgeable about environmental conservation.
9. Usage of Environmental friendly technology: The government and other stakeholders must promote and employ more ecologically friendly technology, such as solar energy and electric vehicles, to preserve the environment.
11. In order to reduce deforestation, electricity and energy-efficient technology should be made available at affordable costs in rural regions as well.
