you are supplied with the number of 100 ohm resistors how could you combine some of these resistors to make a 250 ohm resistor​

We need 4 resistors to do so.

Two resistors are connected in series. Net resistance:

100 + 100 = 200ohms

This is then connected in series to two parallel resistors

Net resistance :

\frac{1}{100} + \frac{1}{100} = \frac{2}{100} = 50ohms

>> 200 + 50 = 250ohms

Answer:

Firstly we will take 2 100ohm resistance in series i.e. 100+100ohm=200ohm

Then we will arrange two 100ohm resistors in parallel like this..

and then

we will get

50ohm

thus, 200+50=250ohm Ans.
