Sir
I am the principal of hallmark school. With deep concern and anguish, I am having to appeal to you with a view to draw your kind attention to the broken and pat holes developed in the road.
For the last four months the road has been almost impassable. This matter is very dangerous and at any moment we may be witnessed to an accident. In spite of repeated requests and several complaints to concerned people in municipal ward office, the problem is being neglected for a long time.The surface of the road is broken by the heavy rains. There are heaps of road material on both sides of the road. They leave only little room in the middle. The side drains are blocked and the water flows out. So, the road gets flooded even after a slight rain. There are pot-holes on the road. The broken culvert is also a danger for vehicles. I regret to inform you that the students and staff are facing a lot of inconvenience due to this matter.
Through this letter, I request you to replace or repair the roads by deputing someone to do this job at the earliest. I shall be much obliged if you would issue suitable instructions for immediate remedial action in the matter. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.
