Answer:

Steps for finding cube root

  1. If the number is odd. the cube root is odd and vice versa.
  2. Make groups of 3 digit numbers and leave the remaining numbers as another pair starting from the rightmost number. For ex, 1331, the rightmost three digits are 331 which is the first group and the second group is the number that is left which is 1.
  3. Look at the last digit to try and guess the last digit of the cube root, which in this case is 1 (1331) So the cube root should have 1 as the unit digit.
  4. Now consider the second group, 1. The largest cubic number less than 1 is 1^3, which is 1. So the other digit of the cubic number is 1.
  5. Hence, the cube root is 11.

Following the same steps and interchanging the numbers, we can get the cube root of 4913 as 17, the cube root of 12167 as 23c and the cube root of 32768 as 32.
