you found a book from the school library on one of the tables of your classroom at the end of the day. you gave it to the class monitor to hand it over to the class teacher,however he has misplaced it and is unable to return it.discuss with your partner what you and the monitor will need to do and how you will resolve the solution

my partner and i will decide that we should confess it and pay the required amount of money. after all if they come to know it from somewhere else they will be more furious.

If you have given the book to the class monitor then you have done really a good job. If you had handed it to the class monitor to tell to give it to the class teacher and the monitor had displaced it is not at all your fault it the monitors fault who had displaced it. You can resolve this problem by asking him that how did he displace the book. If he doesn't no then we can check the hidden camera or the CCTV camera to find out what really happened. Or you can pay the money for the book and hand it over to the librarian.
