"Dear Diary,

The worst flood has hit Kerala in decades. Owing to abundant rainfall that started on 8th August, 2018, all the dams of the state were overflowing to capacity. As a volunteer I come to meet number of effected person.  Thousands of homes have been affected and damaged. It will take several months of hard-work to bring life to normalcy in Kerala.
