here is your anseer mate......
I will first put the litmus paper in a test tube and it it turns blue then the solution is basic and then I will put it in another test tube and if it turns green then the solution is neutral means water... then I will again put the paper in basic solution to turn it blue and then put it in the last test tube and if it turns red then the solution is acidic...

If the colour of red litmus does not change then it is acid. If the colour of red litmus changes to blue then it is base. If there is slight change in the colour of red litmus (such as purple) then it is distilled water.
