Tourism provides boost to the economy. Good treatment of tourists leads to good revenue earnings for the state. -Tourists promote the good image of a destination by describing their experience to friends and acquaintances.
First and foremost is the safety of tourists- safe lodging and tour guides certified by the local police and government authorities.
Police to check cheaters and swindlers misguiding the tourists.
Incidents of foreign women tourists being harassed,raped and molested have increased.
Special safety measures have to be taken to ensure the tourists feel safe: extra police personnel at tourist sites, certified guides, government approved shops that sell traditional artifacts.

The Editor,

Rising Incidents of crimes towards overseas tourists has pushed the Tourism Ministry to send a communication to all states asking them to speed up the system of developing a unique visitor police force. We understand that tourism is integral for each and every country. It is excessive time that tourism is given its long-awaited due.

We need to layout schemes to maintain our tourists safety and happiness. The authorities want to enhance the hotels enterprise for the comfort of the tourists. Moreover, every citizen ought to put forth his/her hospitable nature toward the vacationer, so that they no longer depart with any disappointment.
