Dear diary,
I am very happy and excited today. Today I got selected as the captain of my school cricket team. I have been waited for this moment for long. I am happy that finally my hard work and dedication paid well.
The sports teacher of the school Mr. Sindhiya declared the news today and I was in cloud nine. I am now able to represent my school team in interschool and district level competitions. I was struggling with my form last year but without giving up I started to continue the regular practice.
My parents and well-wishers are happy and proud. I have received joyful congratulations from them. Today is indeed one of the best days of my life.
