There's a story I would like to share.

Once a king and his army were marching towards the battle ground. They reached the ground but their enemy forces were still left to arrive. They were said to take a week to arrive. So the king ordered his soldiers to make a fort to stay and live there for a week. The soldiers enthusiastically started building the fort as guided by there king. On the 5th day the enemy troops arrived.

One of the soldiers asked the king, "What should we do of the fort now? It's just half built."

To this, the king replied, "I just ordered you to make this fort so that you do not lose your enthusiasm in the real battle. 5 days is a long wait. How could I fight in the battle with a disinclined troop?"

The troops fought bravely as they were enthusiastic on their very first day and won the battle for their king!

Now a lesson to learn from here is:

We may seem useless learning in the early stages of life and do not study well as well as do not work hard enough for keeping ourselves ahead. But that labor in the latter stages of life is like the true battle we are going to fight in our real life.
