TMM 2020 HALF MARATHON CONFIRMATION CRITERIA
Entry to the half marathon race category is only against a timing certificate, as elaborated below. You must have fulfilled the requirements under each criterion spelt out below, to apply for the half marathon category. Please go through all details mentioned in this overleaf and the Application Form before submitting your application.
I] Fastest Runners First (Timed runner only)
(7 am IST, 1ST AUGUST 2019 to 30TH AUGUST 2019)*
Registration in this criterion will not be on first come first served basis. The application forms with fastest timing certificates in respective gender and age groups will stand a higher chance to qualify first for half marathon.
After accepting all the applications received under the 1st preference slab (given below) and if there are running spots available, applications falling under 2nd Preference Slab will be processed, followed with the applications received under final Preference Slab. Applicants will get their confirmation post 15 working days of closure of Half Marathon registration i.e. 30th August 2019, subject to availability of running places.

You must have participated in a distance running event which fulfils the following requirements –
The running event must have been conducted within the period of 18 months preceding the Tata Mumbai Marathon race day, i.e. 19th January 2020.
Timings of only marathon (42.195 km), 25 km, half marathon (21.097 km) and 10 km distances will be considered to qualify for the half marathon race category – timing cut-offs of each distance basis age of applicant (men and women) to apply for the half marathon category is given below. Recognized timed relay races, where an individual runner covers minimum 10 km, will also be considered to qualify for Half Marathon race category only.
