It’s very great since I attended a meeting which was spoken by the Prime minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. It was clearly explained that Indian consumers were in the hands of other countries. The demand for the goods made in Indian market is low which had resulted in the weakening of our country’s economy. If Indians are not interested in consuming goods from the Indian market, who else will buy them? We always like imported goods. They might be phones, furniture, foods etc. I suggest people migrate to foreign countries if they don’t consume goods from the Indian market. To strengthen the Indian economy, the government had introduced a new policy ‘Made in India’. According to this policy, the government allows people to sell and buy goods which are made in our country. To sell their products, companies have to establish their manufacturing plants in India and begin to sell their products. According to me, it’s a good step towards development. Hope this revolution continues.

Dear Diary:
Today I attended a talk on ‘Make in India Initiative’. I felt so positive and hopeful after it. This initiative was launched by Prime Minister, Narender Modi in September 2014 as part of a wider set of nation-building initiatives. Undoubtedly, India has developed by leaps and bound in the recent past; but if we compare ourselves to the most advanced nations such as America, France, UK, Germany, etc, Japan, China, etc. India is still lagging far behind in industrial manufacturing, especially in electronics and heavy machinery manufacture and defense technology and equipment. The initiative aims at setting up all these manufacturing units in India by inviting foreign manufacturer in the country. If the imitative becomes successful, India too will become as advanced as the other advanced countries in the world. Make in India initiative will make India self-reliant in all areas! I am so much proud of this initiative.
