Hello John!
I hope you are doing well and enjoying your stay at the college hostel.
Last week I had been to Kodaikanal with a few of our friends. It was a fantastic trip and we really missed you.
We took the scenic route by mountain train and though it was very slow, the scenery was just lovely. As we approached Kodai, we could sense it as the air turned clean and crisp. Lush green trees and beautiful flowers crowded on either side of the rail track all the way.
Once on top, the quaint little town was a bit crowded, probably the time of the year when tourists flock to the place. We stayed in a little cottage close to the town. Walked around the place a lot and did some minor shopping. Our stay lasted 2 days and then we took a cab to Coimbatore. We were sad to leave the beautiful place. We should make the trip once more, sometime later.
