Let the three consecutive even numbers be (2x),(2x+2)and (2x+4)

Step-by-step explanation:

twice of smallest number=2×2x=4x

thrice of middle no.=3(2x+2)

four times of largest no.=4(2x+4)

As per the question we have 4x+3(2x+2)=4(2x+4)

4x+6x+6=8x+16

>10x+6=8x+16

>10x-8x=16-6

>2x=10

>x=5

Hence the numbers are2x=2×5=10,2x+2=10+2=12 and 2x+4=10 +4 =14
