Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: She paid the money for the books. (Active)

               The money for the books has been paid by her. (Passive)

You must help the poor. (Active)

The poor must be helped by you. (Passive)
