You overhear your peers setting up a game plan against a peer in the upcoming
weekly meeting. You have been working in the company for 5 years now and you
have good connections with the leadership team including the Co-Founder and
Directors. Would you escalate this to them? *

Answer:

No, I would not escalate this thing to them.

Explanation:

Escalation makes things worst. the peers are the ones who make you have, who keep you on the track, sometimes you learn a lot from your peers, and the most important thing is that your peers understand you if you are living or working with them for a long period of time.

there are certain things that we all have to do for cultivating relationships with our peers:

  • peer networking is good practice.
  • meeting someone with the same amount of experience as you is a great way to share experience and work challenges in a way that can feel impossible to do with someone in a more senior position.
  • When you network with colleagues, you probably do it unnoticed. Networking can be a daunting task when chatting with new contacts or trying to impress someone above you. It can also be time-consuming and costly. All of these happy times and dinners can be summed up quickly.   But you can do more at less cost by connecting with like-minded people you already know. Have lunch together in the office cafeteria or visit a local coffee shop and you'll be amazed at how far you can go.

the right way to stop your peers from doing so is that talk with them and make them understand that whatever they are doing is not good for them and for other peers as well.
