Ferris wheel opens at 11am that means the first person will board the Ferris wheel at 11am and will get down at 11;10 because the ride take 10 minutes.
Until 11:10 everyone will be seated and after 11:10 to 11:30 people will get down at the rate of 2 per minute.
Now calculate the number of people who got down the ride between 11:10 to 11:30 and the answer is 42 so 42 people took the ride in that time.
