Subject:- Attacks on old people living alone.
Sir/ Madam,
Through the columns of your reputed newspaper, I would like to bring the attention of the concerned authorities and common people to the daily incidents of attacks on old people.
Many old people these days live alone. Their children stay somewhere else because of their work or because of some family problems. The old people are weak. They are becoming the target of robbers and thieves these days. These criminals attack these poor people and snatch away their belongings.
It is the duty of young generation and the government to protect the senior citizens and to stop such crimes. Strict rules must be formulated against such criminals. And the young neighbours should treat the old people as their parents.
Why do we forget that one day we'll be old too? If we don't stand beside the old generation today, who'll stand beside us when we'll be old? Remove the children learn from what you do. So instead of ignoring this matter I hope the authorities concerned and the young generation will take necessary steps to protect the privacy of the old people.
