Dear diary,
I had a great time at the adventurous camp held in my city. This was a unique camp far away from the din and crowd of the city. The pleasant and refreshing weather rejuvenated us. I enjoyed camping out and trekking expedition. The trekking along a stream was so wonderful!
While trekking, we at times came so close to the river that we could not resist the temptation of wading into its chilled water. We dared not go farther than the shallow water, as the current in the middle was so strong. The scenic beauty of the surroundings and the refreshing water of the stream just refreshed our body, mind and soul. I learnt many new things during this expedition. At times, the trekking trail became quite arduous; I really had to focus my mind and body to overcome the obstacles. I learnt to be self-reliant. Sleeping in the sleeping bag in tent in the open, without the comforts and luxuries of home was another challenge.
I also got opportunity to climb rocks. I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed this camp a lot.
