TheFlood situation at Dhemaji is quite critical. Almost all low lying areas are inundated and evacuated. As many as 20,000 people have been rendered homeless. The victims have been accommodated in flood relief camps at schools and colleges. Many houses and buildings have crumbled down. The flood relief work is in full swing.

Central Government, State Governments, Multi-National Corporations, Big Business Houses, Celebrities, Sportsmen and women, schools, colleges, and common people have come forward to contribute to Relief Fund generously.
