Dear Diary,
"Show a child love and care, child labour is just not fair." Today, I was going for tuition and saw something unacceptable.

A child of my age was being mistreated. He was being beaten with a bamboo stick by his employer. He worked at a tea shop near my house. I felt pity on that child. I wanted to help but I couldn't. I was already late for tuition.

At this age, he should be sent to school for Nelson Mandela said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

Hope it helps! :)

Early one morning, I was walking to the nearby shop to pick up some grocery for my mother.

On my way, I noticed a commotion at the tea shop. The owner of the shop held a small boy, about my age, by his ear and was shouting at him. The boy was dressed in dirty, tattered shirt and shorts and looked terrified. The tea shop owner shouted loudly at him for having spilt milk. The scene so shook me, that in a reflex, I rushed in and dragged the boy from the shop owner’s clutch, yelling back that I will report him to the police for troubling little boys.

I took him home, where he told us that he was just trying to make money and help his father who was out of job. My father promised to drop the poor boy at his house and see what he could do to help the family.
