You serve a volleyball with a mass of 2.1 Kg. The ball leaves your hand with a speed of 30m/s. The ball has kinetic energy. Calculate it.

so we know ,

K.E =  \frac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}

Also,

we are given:

m = 2.1kg and v = 30m/s

putting the given values in the formula we get :

K.E =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 2.1 \times 30

K.E = 15 \times 2.1

K.E = 31.5J

Thus, your answer is 31.5 Joules
