Dear Kitty,
I have not written to you since a long time, because I didn't get time to do so. I was busy due to my academics, and all other works, therefore couldn't reach out to you. Well, I have something to tell you today. I was actually scruffling over my fictional novel today, that I saw an adventure, far much related to one I had in Shimla. Everything was fresh, calm and soothing. I felt as if I had separated from the rest of the world and reached to an unknown land where none of the human beings knew me. Those mountains brought a joy unseen to my blurred life, and helped me feel the joy of freedom. I felt relieved, joyous, enthusiastic, as if an inner spirit had got awakened by the noise of the outbursts around itself.
Those forests too seemed as if they were familiar to me, those lakes and meadows and gladly singing streams, I felt as if I shall dwell with them forever. I considered myself a poet for sometime, lost in the woods, beneath the vast sky, the patches of grass below me, and the angels casting their shadows in the water that passed my way. Since you know, my passion is to click photographs, I was clicking of the nature around me, and of myself too, only then I saw how pretty the world was, that I had never afford to see. I moved around here and there, and exhausted myself with my enthralling acts, and even attempted sky – diving, and mountaineering.
We went for shopping, playing, camping, diving, and many other playful acts. I enjoyed and fulfilled my heart felt desires. I enjoyed the beauty of the nature around me, and was amazed to see the mountains extending it’s arms to attend the emerging rivers. It was all amazing. I loved those moments, that photography, and the pleasures we had…..
Such a mesmerizing trip was it, I can’t get it off my mind.…..
Nothing more to pen now. Mom is calling….
Hope this helps!!!

Dear Diary:
This winter will always remain unforgettable throughout my life. My father took us to the beautiful hill station of Shimla. Keats has rightly said 'A thing of a beauty is a joy forever.' My first experience with something really beautiful happened, when in the last week my father took the family to Shimla at the weekend. The drive from Parvenu to Shimla was a real treat to the eyes. On either side of the serpentine road, breathtaking vistas of unmatched sylvan beauty soothed not only the eyes but the restive soul also. Deep dells, with pure verdant slopes; idyllic, pastoral human settlements, glimpses of the far off-white sheep grazing on the slopes of the mountains under the canopy of the azure sky are the enthralling views one gets as a gift for coming to this paradise. I did not want the drive to end. As we neared Shimla, the mountains became taller and taller. The peace, tranquility, and splendor of Shimla and its surroundings were supernal. My father had intentionally got a hotel booked at a place where nature was abundant. From the room window, the distant snow clad white mountains gave the illusion as if we are in a different world. At night we went on foot to the Mall road for dinner. First time in my life I saw the magnificence of the night sky. I did not know there were so many stars in the sky. Then the most wonderful thing happened! It began to snow. The cotton-like flakes began to fall all around us. People began shouting and screaming out of joy. We were fully refreshed by our short stay at Shimla. I will always cherish the sweet memories of this excursion.
Thank you, dear friend,
