Diary Entry

Friday, 14th February, 10 p.m:

Dear Diary,

Once again I was late for school today. I missed the morning assembly. My class teacher warned me that if I was late again she would have to take me to the Principal.

But it was not my fault today. My little sister was the cause of the delay. You know I carry her on my cycle to school everyday. Madam lost her first milk tooth today while biting at her chapati.

The ruckus she created. She simply would not part with her broken tooth. I tried to console her, take her to the ice cream parlour, treat her to her favourite ice cream and then cycle to school.

I have to get up early tomorrow and be on time. So long for today.
