You tried through the terrace and found that the window was wide open . It was really fishy because it was always locked . You squeezed through the window into the room and tiptoed around the house quietly to investigate . Sure enough , a sound came from the bedroom . As you slowly peeked into the bedroom , you saw a muscular man wearing a black scarf to hide his face taking all the gold ornaments from the cupboard . You slowly went back to a safer place , trying not to panic and called the police . You waited quietly under the sofa so that you wouldn’t be found . After what seemed like an eternity (it would have probably been 2 minutes) the police arrived . The their tried to get away with the loot but was caught . The police took him away and appreciated you for your bravery and quick thinking .
