I entered the room with the school progress report in my hand.

My Grandpa was sitting in the arm-chair with an anxious face.

As soon as I entered the room, Grandpa showered me with too many questions, “Why it took you so long to return? What happened? Was there any problem with the report card? How much did you get? Who came first?”

I took a long breath and said: “I came Second in my class, Grandpa”.

Grandpa frowned and said, “Why second?” Without making direct eye contact .

I answered, “Got 2 marks less in Mathematics.”

Grandpa smiled and said, “Keep it up, and try to come first next time”.
