as per your question tree is a living thing it's not dead or not non living because it takes carbon dioxide and give us oxygen which is the greatest proof you can't select tree is a dead or non living tree is a living thing and not tree is something which has Gave all of the benefits in our life not only food fruits food because tree has gave everything whatever we want


as Gandhiji said there is enough for everybody's need but not for anybody's greed this statement means we should conserve the resources Instead of on conserving so this is one of the greatest thing
