My colony ARG Puram last week there was water scarcity. Myself could not celebrate the birthday. We went to the Temple on the eve of Birthday. There we had pray for the well being of ourselves and other also. It was a good decision not to celebrate the birthday.

Water scarcity spoiled my birthday.
I am always excited for birthdays, whether its mine or others. Anyhow, last week was my birthday. I knew that were chances that the day might get spoiled because our colony was struggling with the issue of sudden scarcity of water. But that day, there was hardly a drop available. We ordered a tanker of water to fill the tanks of the house at 12:00 pm, but unfortunately, that too was not available. So, my mood was totally spoiled. Later, I took my bag containing books and went to my friend's house to study and then to the tuition. When I returned it was around 08:00 pm. The whole day was passed and we decided not to celebrate the birthday that day. Dad said, "We will surely cherish your birthday another day." I just thought that what was the logic of that statement as I was very upset. Well, it hardly matters now. I am happy today and now, whenever I remember the situations we faced, it makes me laugh.
