Heya buddy,
here is your answer

MY WINTER VACATION
This year my family was not able to plan a summer vacation, so we spend few days in summer camp and visited grandparent at our native place. I and my sister requested our parents for a long winter vacation and then happily agreed too. So, we planned a long road trip for our winter vacation. We all like winter season for trips because of overall pleasant climate and we see greenery alongside roads which makes the journey enjoyable.
Earlier evening, papa took our car to a service center to check everything. We started our journey early morning, my mother made sandwiches and tea for breakfast. First, we visited a Lord Ganesh Theur (place name) Temple which is 30 KM from our home. We took blessings and prayed for a safe journey.
This temple is 1 of 8 temples from AshthaVinayak. Then around 9 AM we left for Indore. We took a quick halt at Shirdi, which is a holy place of Saibaba. We reached to Indore city by midnight, we covered 600 KM to reach there. We all were tired so we ate and had a good sleep in a motel.
Next day, we woke little late as we were tired. Had Indori delicacies for breakfast and wander around the Indore city for an hour. At 10 ‘o clock, we visited famous Kanch Mandir, almost everything is made up of glass there. We also had a quick tour of Rajwada Mahal. These places show us the glimpse of the opulent past of Indore and India. We find Indori people very kind, helpful.
We covered 700 KMs and reached Agra late night. While traveling we booked a hotel from online hotel booking service and we got a good deal too. After dinner, we slept within 10 minutes.
Next day, we woke up early to visit Taj Mahal. We reached to Taj Mahal gate at 7 in the morning. We were there for 2 hours and visited each and every corner of it. I have seen Taj Mahal thousand times in newspapers, magazines, and movie but when I saw Taj Mahal personally then I understood why it is a so famous in the whole words, it is mesmerizing, a real treat to eyes.
That day afternoon, we left for Mathura and Vrindavan. We visited temples and took blessing from Lord Krisha. We reached there in the early evening by that time there was heavy traffic. We were also heckled by local thugs, they were trying to frighten us and asking for money. We complained to traffic police but he didn’t help us. My Papa courageously maneuvered our car led us to the highway and then we traveled back Agra. This was the only bad experience we had in our whole road trip.
My Mother then explained to us that life always shows us good and bad experiences. We should be ready to deal both types of situations. After her soothing words, we all took rest for the day back in Agra.
The fourth day, we visited Fatehpur Sikri, a small city west of Agra which was founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar. We saw Buland Darwaza, Jama Mosque, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Jodha Bai’s Palace. The tour guide showed us a secret door through which Anarkali was fleed. Guide also told us the captivating history of the place. By the afternoon we left for Jaipur, Rajasthan which is nearly 200KM from there. We had authentic Rajasthani lunch at roadside Dhaba before Duasa Town. That was the best food so far in our journey.
We reached to Hawa Mahal by late afternoon, we missed the City Palace because they close it by 5:30 PM. We were on a shopping spree, we bought various items from Ramganj Bazaar, Tripolia Bazaar, and Johari Bazar. Jaipur was not in our plan, we were supposed to hit back return journey after Mathura. But as they say, unplanned trips are the best and that is what exactly happened to us. Jaipur is a very clean, neat and welcoming city; that day I understood why Rajasthan is famous for western tourists. We decided that next winter trip will be Rajasthan,

We left city late in the evening, we were heading towards Pushkar, it is only place in the whole world where you will Lord Bramha Mandir. Again, we reached late night at Ajmer. We booked motel near famous Anasagar Lake. Next day morning, we enjoyed the view of a majestic lake and headed towards Ajmer Dargah Sharif. It is a very famous place a lot of celebrities also visit this dargah to take blessings. Around 10 AM we headed to Pushkar. We took blessings and spend an hour at Pushkar Lake. We also took holy bath at Pushkar ghat.
Next, we headed towards a very long 650 KM stretch in our return journey. We skipped Udaipur as we will be visiting the whole of Rajasthan on our next winter vacation. We reached Vadodara at early morning around 3 AM. This leg of the journey was tiresome, we took rest and visited Kiri Stambh and Laxmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara and left for home. It was the last leg of the journey, last 550 KM. While entering Maharashtra again we were welcomed by untimed but pleasant drizzle.
Though it was tiring, this winter vacation was the best time I ever spent with my family. We saw a lot of places within 7 days. We came close to each other as family. Next year also we are planning for winter vacation. Everyone should plan such trips with family, it helps to strengthen the bond and we also get to see the beauty of India and magnificence of its history.
