Funny and humorous incidents keep happening in our life. Ironically, they just happen unexpectedly as pleasant surprises. One such humorous incident happened recently. During the recent Diwali vacation, I got an opportunity to go to Mumbai to attend my uncle's son's wedding. It was quite a long journey. So we had our berths booked in the second class sleeper coach. The compartment we got, we had to share with another family. Our berths faced one another. So till evening we sat on the seats. Since they also belonged to our city, soon a friendship developed between the two families. The auntie was a very fat lady. She occupied most of the space of the compartment. But we could not do anything about it. Well, during the night something funny happened! I fell from my upper berth on to the fat auntie who was sleeping on the lowest berth. Fortunately neither of us was hurt. Thenceforth everybody made fun of me. I just cannot control my laughter whenever I think about it.
"Recently, I and my family went to Mumbai by train to attend a wedding. My father was very reluctant to attend the wedding as we are not close to the bride and her parents. But, due to pressure from my mother, my father had to book the tickets at the last minute.
I was excited because I had taken 3 days of leave from school. We started 40 minutes late from home and we somehow managed to reach the station while the train has already arrived.
When we got to our seat, there, a family was already seated. My father showed them the tickets, while they did the same only to realize that we were allotted the same seat in the same coach.
My father shouted at the railway's irresponsibility and waited for the TTR to come, so that he can solve this issue. Till then, they allowed us to sit along with them.
When TTR came and looked into the issue, we realized that we have boarded the wrong train in a hurry as both the trains were going to the same destination, arrived at the same time and our train was in platform number 4.
We were asked to board the train when we reach the next station. I could not help but laugh looking at my father's face who regretted shouting at those passengers. "
