Bhaban agar is a great coastal city of Saurashtra district of Gujarat state. It is also called Kathiawar. It is a fifth biggest city of Gujarat.Amreli is a very old and big city and has historical importance. It is believed by the residents of the place that in the early year 534 AD, Amreli existed as a city named Hanumanji. And subsequently, named as Amravati. Therefore, the ancient Sanskrit name of Amreli was Amarvalli. Initially, Amreli was the part Baroda, owned by the kings of Gakawad. After independence, it became a part of Gujarat State after the bifurcation of Bombay State.
