4. NEHRU NAGAR - Far but super
An area which most of the people find a bit far when compared to MP nagar and Arera colony, but to be honest, this is still a super place to live in. This area is also well connected to the outer areas of Ratibad etc. which houses many engineering colleges in the vicinity.

5. OLD BHOPAL - The busy Bhopal
If you do not love spending too much on rent and food, believe me, this would be the best place for you. Also, the nearby areas like Ibrahimpura etc, have many clothing shops where you can shop for the least price in this city.

6. AYODHYA BYPASS ROAD - The outer yet busier.

This road is slowly becoming one of the posh areas in the city. The road has been at its best and introduction of 2 big shopping malls have boosted the area’s presence a lot. You can find varieties in everything here.

8. KOH - E - FIZA -The fresh air place
Surrounding the proud of bhopal “The upper lake” this is again one of the high value areas to live in Bhopal. Although not much suited to the students, still good for a family to live.

9 . LALGHATI - The Different one.
Lalghati lies in the outer part of the city, but comes with a decent rate of rent. The area is well connected through buses to the other parts of the city. If you want to stay away from the busy group of people, this is the choice for you.

For students it is Indrapuri and piplani.
Many girls hostels with good facilities are here in Indrapuri( especially sector C ). In sector C there is too much rush…but you get all the facilities like cafes, shopping marts, food corners etc at walking distance.
And if you want a peaceful area u can look for hostels in indrapuri sector A.
Gautam and rachna nagar are also safe for girls. You can get good pgs and hostels there too. These areas are nearby MP nagar which is the hub of all the coaching centres in Bhopal.
Now its all up to you.
Entire bhopal because in every parts it is best which depends on their necessity and budget.
But peoples always prefer distance of residence from Tatya Tope Nagar I.e. New Market{presently no new} hence prefer Area colony which is now ended E/11 and called near Area colony.
Please visit Bhopal and decide your self to where you prefer to resides.
As I am at Ayodhya nagar by pass which is also a best locality according to my needs and budget.

I am shifting to Bhopal from Kolkata and I am a chartered accountant (I got transferred). Is Bhopal a good city to live in? What are the good places in Bhopal? What is the living cost there?
Is Bhopal a good city to live in?
If you are a student than I will suggest you Gautam Nagar , rachna Nagar which is near chetak bridge because this areas have enough connectivity from many point of view .
But it also depends on what you are doing or where you have to go for your work or college daily.
I have lived in Bhopal from last 5 years
Out of which I lived in Gautam Nagar 3 years
That is why I am suggesting you Gautam Nagar .
