Dear Diary:
I am going to share with you how contented I felt after receiving thankfulness form my friend for teaching him the secrets to speak English fluently. My friend, Shymal had a burning desire to learn to speak English fluently. So, one day he came to me for help. I made special speaking, listening, and reading exercises for him. every day I did conversational exercises with him. I told him speaking correct English fluently is a matter of natural exposure to the language, and the regular, sincere practice. The easiest way to learn English is to spend maximum of his time in an environment where quality English is spoken. I explained to him fluency of correct English does not happen in a day or month. I also told him he needed a long training. I also suggested some techniques and strategies such as listening soundtracks of audio-books, such as, Harry Potter, The Story of My Life, or any other books of your choice. He learnt the most from the conversations I had with him. I would correct him immediately if he made any mistake. Thus within six months he gained considerable fluency. He also worked very enthusiastically and untiringly. I am so happy that I could help my friend.
Today I met my friend after a long time he couldn't speak English very well so he asked for my help when I met him 4 months back he had no idea what grammar is and how to use words in a sentence, then he asked for my help as he was really embarrassed in front of his friends.
I helped him for 4 months and told him he can ask me whatever he wants, I gave him activities and homework which he used to do at home and in his free time.
Today I met him after 4 months and I am simply amazed at the way he was speaking English and also the accent. He is a very hard working boy and in just 4 months he got a good grasp on English. This made me really happy that I helped my friend.
So in short today was a good day.
Good Night!
