Your grandfather is very upset about the rising prices and keeps thinking of his olden times when things were very cheap. You are convinced that inflation has made life difficult for common man. Write a letter in 100-120 words to the editor of a national daily describing the difficulties faced by poor families.

Subject : Rising Prices

Sir,

I wish to draw your attention towards the inflation which has made life difficult for the common man. It was not the case in earlier times, when things were very cheap and were within the reach of almost everyone. The sharp rise in prices of all commodities has made it difficult for a common man to make both ends meet He cannot bear even the daily expenses of his family. This is giving rise to disappointments and dejection in the life of common people. Corruption is also on the rise, so as to avoid financial crisis, people are turning towards bribery which is the root cause of all evils. The society is taking a bad turn only because of inflation.

It is high time that the concerned authorities should wake up to this social problem and try to put reins on the rising prices so that people can lead a comfortable and peaceful life.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely,

Subject: Rising Prices

Respected Sir,

I wanted to bring to your attention that these days the prices are soaring. This has made life very difficult for the common man. This wasn't the same back in the day when everything was available to almost everyone. Things used to be very cheap and affordable even for the poor, but now these prices are causing serious problems. Some people can't even afford to live and to pay for food for their families. Let alone find a place to live. Soaring prices have led to many people being discouraged about the lives they are living in. Some of these people choose to take their lives and some turn towards thievery and bribery. Corruption keeps increasing day by day, and this is a root cause for all the evil. Our society becomes worse every passing day.

Consider this a wake up call because it is high time that people start realizing what they have been doing and put a stop to these rising prices so that people can lead a happy and healthy life.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours sincerely,

Subject -Rising Prices

Respected Sir,

I wish to draw your attention to the rising affectation which has made life delicate for the common man. It wasn't so in earlier times when effects were veritably cheap and were within the reach of nearly everyone. The sharp rise in the prices of all goods has made it delicate for the common man to make both ends meet. He can not bear indeed the diurnal charges of his family. This is giving rise to bummers and dejections in the life of the common people. Corruption is also on the rise, so as to avoid fiscal extremity, people are turning towards bribery which is the root cause of all immoralities. Society is taking a bad turn only because of affectation. It's high time that the concerned authorities wake up to this social problem and try to put an arm on the rising prices so that people can lead a comfortable and peaceful life.

Thanking you

Yours truly
