When my grandma came to town she brought an unexpected surprise in the form of Chrissy, the hen.
The hen had lived all its life with grandma and she never wanted to part ways with her.
That is why she carried it all along with her to our place.
It would lay some eggs every three or four days and that would become our morning breakfast the next day.
What's more, it would also wake us all up by the first ray of sunlight.
Therefore, Chrissy was a pleasant surprise that my grandma brought home for us.
