yr I am having a doubt saying the things which can move from one place to another they are living so car can also move from one place to another so why it is non living

we are able to move own their is no one who is controlling us but we control car it cannot move its own.

We use many different criteria to said a thing living and breathing is the main criteria and as u said plants don't move from one place to another but plants are living so on the basis of this criteria such as moving, breathing, growth etc.
