Answer :

One the zeroes of the polynomial is - 1

Therefore x = - 1

Substituting in the polynomial,

P(-1) = 2(-1)² - 3k(-1) + 5 = 0

2 + 3k + 5 = 0

3k + 7 = 0

3k = - 7

k = - 7/3

Hope it helps...
