To Find :- The value of a.

x² + 4x + 2a

ax² + bx + c ⇒ Quadratic Equation !

Here in the equation :-

a = 1 , b = 4 , c = 2a

Its given that :- α and 2/α are the zeroes of the polynomial.

Now, as per as our question :-

Zeroes of the polynomial = α and 2/α

So, Product of roots for equation :-

x² + 4x + 2a = 0

α × 2/α = 2a/1  ( ∵αβ =  -b/a )

2 = 2a

a = 2/2 ⇒ 1

\huge{\boxed{\sf{Hence,\:The\:value\:of \:a\:=\:1.}}}
