Zia was driving his truck on the superhighway. His speed was recorded by the motorway camera between 6:00 am to 8:30 am. He covered a distance of 250km during this time. Calculate his average speed between this time duration.

Answer:

Calculating the average speed during this time interval is the same as calculating how many km he traveled per hour.

km = hr : 250 = 2.5

This is also the same thing as the unit rate. Do that division and find that he traveled 100 km/hr.

Hope it's help you ❤

HELLO DEAR,

The truch is running on superhighway during the interval of time 6:00 to 8:30.

And it cover a distance of 250 km.

To find average speed.

Lets get start it,

Here t1 = 6:00 and t2 = 8:30

So,time interval = t2 - t1

= 8:30 - 6:00

= 2:30 hour

= 2 + 1/2 hour

= 5/2 hours.

And Distance is given= 250 km

Therefore speed = (total distance travelled)/ total time taken

= 250 / 5/2

= (250 × 2) / 5

= 500/5

= 100 km / hour.

I HOPE IT HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
