Zn + NaOH= Na2ZnO2 + H2O

Why this reaction takes place?
I mean Zinc is not more reactive than sodium so it should not change sodium hydroxide's Compound

Answer -here NAOH is a base not a metal so that's why zn reacts naoh (base).
