Answer:

Mainly there are three states of matter and we know them by the names of:- Solid, Liquid and Gas.

Properties:-

  • the molecules of solid are much closer than liquid and the molecules of liquid are closer than of gas.
  • solids are heavier than liquid and gas.
  • gas are well separated with no regular arrangement. liquid are close together with no regular arrangement. solid are tightly packed, usually in a regular pattern.Ionized Plasma, Quark-Gluon Plasma, Bose-Einstein Condensate and Fermionic Condensate are the other states of matter.

There are three States of matter :

➪Solid

◾Solids have fixed shape and volume.

◾Solids cannot be compressed.

◾Solids do not flow.

◾Solids have high densities.

◾Solids do not fill the container completely.

➪Liquid

◾Liquids do not have fixed shape but have fixed volume.

◾Liquids can be compressed a little.

◾Liquids generally flow easily.

◾Liquids have moderate to high densities.

◾Liquids do not fill the container completely.

➪Gas

◾Gases do not have fixed shape and volume.

◾Gases can be highly Compressed.

◾Gases flow easily.

◾Gases have low densities.

◾Gases fill the container completely.
