Hiii!!

Here is ur answer :--

0.3x + 0.4 = 0.28x + 1.16

combining like terms we get,

=> 0.3x- 0.28x = 1.16 - 0.4

=> 0.02x = 0.76

=> x = 0.76 / 0.02

=> x = 38

Given,

  • 0.3x +0.4 = 0.28 x +1.16 is given.

To find,

  • We have to find the value of x.

Solution,

We can simply find the value of x by solving the linear equation by transposing the like terms to one side and then simplifying.

           0.3x +0.4 = 0.28 x +1.16

Shifting 0.28x from RHS to LHS, we get

           0.30 x -0.28 x = 1.16-0.4

Now, simplifying the like terms we get

                         0.02x = 0.76

Now, shifting 0.02 in the denominator of 0.76, we get

                               x = 0.76/0.02

                               x = 38

Hence, the value of x in 0.3x+0.4=0.28x+1.16 is 38.
