Mass of metal = 0.456

Mass of chlorine in the chloride = 0.606 - 0.456
                                                  = 0.15
Equivalent mass = (Mass of metal x 35.5)/ Mass of chlorine in the chloride

                           = (0.456x35.5)/0.15
                                                      = 107.92g

The equivalent mass of the metal = 107.92g

Answer:

Explanation:

Mass of metal = 0.456

Mass of chlorine in the chloride = 0.606 - 0.456

= 0.15

Equivalent mass = (Mass of metal x 35.5)/ Mass of chlorine in the chloride

= (0.456x35.5)/0.15

= 107.92g

The equivalent mass of the metal = 107.92g
