Dolphins are found mostly in the oceans of the world but they live in some rivers
too. In India 'we find them in river Ganga and Brahmaputra. These magnificent
creatures are known for their intelligence and friendliness to humans. For centuries we
have heard stories of dolphins saving drowning sailors.
They look after other dolphins when they are ill and care for and protect the
weakest in their communicates just like we do. Dolphins communicate with each other
in a language without words - language of their own.
Around the world people throng to dolphin parks where these gentle beings are
used to provide entertainment. India is one of the few countries that have banned
dolphin parks. This is a laudable decision because these highly intelligent and, sensitive
animals deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. Are dolphins more intelligent
than us?
We think we are more powerful for the only reason that we have the ability to kill
them more easily than they can kill us. The more man destroys these animals, the more
be proves his lack of superiority​
